  Went in here for the first time today. The food and service was great. I was really happy until I went to pay. They probably had a sign somewhere on the door that said "Cash Only", but In my defense they have a lot of signage and posters on the doors. I gave the cashier my card and and she nicely told me it was cash only. They have an ATM right next to the register with a 2 dollar surcharge. They pride themselves that the proceeds go to the Soup Kitchen. I think this is outrageous. Having to pay 2 bucks just to pay for a meal is basically extortion. It's 2017 and any small business can have swipe or some cheap form of CC processing. Even the Green Frog has gone to CC service. It all seems very scammy. Patrons shouldn't be forced to make a charitable donation to pay their bill. If so, where is my tax receipt. They are surely gaining tax benefits from the surcharges and their not for profit Soup Kitchen. Regardless how good the food and service is, the ATM extortion ruined the experience. I won't ever be going back.
